Scania’s earnings for the first quarter of 2010

 Operating income amounted to SEK 2,130 m  Net sales totalled SEK 16,503 m  Operating margin was 12.9 percent  Deliveries amounted to 11,947 vehicles Scania’s operating income for the first quarter amounted to SEK 2,130 m. This good earnings figure is explained primarily by strong demand in Brazil, where the truck market is supported both by tax breaks and interest rate subsidies.
