Industry leading structural engineering and metal fabrication company donates 30 food packages to local charity.
One of the UK’s leading structural engineering and metal fabrication companies – Tranent based Had Fab – has launched a generous donations campaign in celebration of its 30 years in business and as part of the company’s pledge to give back to the local community.
Established in 1993 - Had Fab - celebrates 30 years of supplying structural engineering and metal fabrication solutions to the UK’s manufacturing and engineering industry. The company works across a number of industries including Power and Transmission, Rail, Civils and Infrastructure, Renewables and Energy, and Structural and Steelwork, and has delivered projects for clients including SSEN, The National Grid and Costain.
This year the company celebrates its 30th anniversary in business and – as part of that – has launched a unique ‘30 for 30’ - campaign designed to celebrate its successful track record and, most importantly, to give back to the Scottish community.
Managing Director at Had Fab, Greg Scott said ‘Had Fab’s success is built on a reputation for quality design and engineering, working across some of the most high profile projects in our industries. We would not have achieved this reputation without the support of our local communities. From suppliers, to customers, to all our hardworking employees, the success of Had Fab is down to them.
‘As we turn thirty, it’s hugely important we mark this milestone and use it as an opportunity to give back to the community our organisation was built on.’
The first donation of the ’30 for 30’ campaign has seen the Scottish fabricator donate thirty food packages to the East Lothian foodbank. Established in 2012, the foodbank is part of a wider network - the Trussell Trust – providing substantial, nutritional food to those in poverty across Scotland and - over the past decade - has supplied over 422,253 meals to residents of the town and its surrounding areas.
Had Fab’s ‘30 for 30’ campaign will run until December 2023, and will supply 30 donations to a different Southeast Scotland charity each month.
