Earlier this month, Scottish-based fabricators, Had Fab, delivered a generous donation of chocolate treats to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People in Edinburgh. Recently turning thirty, the fabricator pledged to reciprocate the enormous levels of local support received by its community, through its ‘30 for 30’ campaign

Established in Tennant, Had Fab has provided the UK manufacturing industry with engineering and metal fabrication solutions for thirty years, boasting impressive clients including The National Grid and Costain.

During this time, the fabricator has delivered projects to a multitude of industries including Power and Transmission, Rail, Civils and Infrastructure, Renewables and Energy, and Structural and Steelwork.

Chief Operating Officer at Had Fab, Martin Ward said “Turning thirty is a significant achievement and an impressive milestone in our history.

“As we continue to become the UK’s leading metal fabrication and engineering solutions specialist, we recognise the continued support Had Fab has received from the East Lothian community and our anniversary campaign is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate our appreciation for this.’

The campaign aims to enrich the East Lothian community, supporting organisations that make a positive impact on its residents. In January, Had Fab pledged to deliver thirty donations to a different community organisation each month and since the campaign began, the East Lothian Foodbank, Haddington Care Home and most recently, dance school Dansa Gru Brath, have all been beneficiaries of ‘30 for 30’.

In April, Had Fab’s HR Manager, Yvonne Hutchison, and Inspector, Steven Fleming, delivered thirty chocolate eggs to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People in Edinburgh.

Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity (ECHC) volunteers Sam and Alison welcomed the donations, with Sam commenting ‘It is delightful when local businesses work with charities such as ours to support their local communities. The Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity works to support families in the most difficult times. Our sole purpose is to enrich the lives of the children staying at the Hospital and it is generous donations like these which help us to achieve our mission.

“The charity, and our patients’ families, are thankful to companies, like Had Fab, who contribute to enhancing the lives of the patients at the hospital.”
