M2 Digital enjoys best ever period of new business wins
M2, Europe’s leading independent managed print IT service provider, is celebrating its best ever period of new business wins having landed four major contracts in succession.
M2, an SCC business, was acquired by the £1.74bn turnover technology solutions provider in February to merge with SCC’s existing print services operation, enhancing the company’s specialist capabilities in that area.
Four months on from the acquisition, M2 has underpinned its Photizo-recognised market leading position with the signatures of Babcock International, Northumbria Water, Vaultex and Compass plc in the first half of 2014.
Babcock, Northumbria Water and cash processing firm Vaultex represent a hat-trick of deals set to exceed 4,000 devices in total and generate contracted revenues of more than £10m.
Existing customer Compass plc’s subsequent three-year contract renewal completed an unprecedented start to 2014 for M2, and guaranteed eight years of service delivery to the FTSE 100 company.
CEO John Taylor said of the success: “M2 has enjoyed a really great start to 2014, with these four wins following a successful acquisition by SCC. We are delighted to have joined SCC and the benefits are already starting to show.
“M2 remains keen to achieve its next level of ambitious growth, with a business owner that understands the technology market and has the vision to see us become Europe’s largest MPS business.”
