SCC Awarded Place on G-Cloud 7 Framework

SCC has continued its G-Cloud success after being awarded a place on the new G-Cloud 7 Framework.

Europe’s principal IT services business, SCC, has been included on every iteration of the G-Cloud Framework since its inception, a result of continued organic and acquisitive investment in service capability and resource.

For G-Cloud 7, SCC has introduced a portfolio of new, innovative services including Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings to deliver Skype for Business, Secure File Sharing & Collaboration, Hosted Desktop, and Managed Desktop, each hosted on Sentinel by SCC.

Sentinel by SCC not only provides faster IT implementation but also keeps data to Government-approved security standards.

It is the most established and cost-effective Cloud solution; the first Pan-Government Accredited platform of its kind, supporting a number of major public sector organisations including: Civil Aviation Authority, HM Passport Office, Highways England, Yorkshire and Humber CSU, and Mersey Care NHS Trust.

A key reason for SCC’s inclusion on the G-Cloud 7 Framework is its award-winning service delivery having recently won large, multi-year contracts with Oxford City Council, Sodexo, and Charity Commission.

Kelvin Ayre, Practice Manager for Sentinel by SCC, said of SCC’s inclusion on the G-Cloud 6 Framework: “This is the seventh successive iteration of G-Cloud that SCC has been included on and we’re pleased to be offering an extended service that will continue to transform the way the public sector works.

“G-Cloud 7 heralds the ‘year of the cloud’ – and 2016 is a critical year for public sector organisations to make the move to secure cloud, or get left behind.

“SCC’s own user base continued to expand rapidly – and we’re proud that, since the launch of Sentinel by SCC, we haven’t lost a single customer from the platform.”

Earlier this month, SCC was named Managed Services Provider of the Year at the CRN Channel Awards 2015, commended for its continual and substantial investment in excellent service delivery in the mid-market space.
