Hamilton, Bermuda, March 7, 2012 - Reference is made to the fourth quarter 2011 report released on February 29, 2012. Seadrill Limited will be trading ex-dividend of a cash dividend of US$0.8 per share on March 8, 2012.

The record date is March 12, 2012, and the dividend will be paid on or about March 23, 2012.
