Hamilton, Bermuda, December 7, 2011 - Reference is made to the third quarter 2011 report released on November 30, 2011. Seadrill Limited will be trading ex-dividend of a cash dividend of US$0.76 per share on December 8, 2011.

The record date is December 12, 2011, and the dividend will be paid on or about December 21, 2011.
