Seamless enters into a strategically important agreement with MICROS-Fidelio, part of MICROS Systems Inc., a leader in enterprise solutions for the hospitality industry; i.e. Point of Sale for restaurants, bars, hotels, cruise ships, retail outlets, etc. The cooperation will enable MICROS-Fidelio's customers to easily integrate their POS systems with Seamless' mobile payment system SEQR.

In November 2011, Seamless Distribution announced that it will launch mobile payments through its proprietary platform SEQR. The technique is based on over ten years experience of mobile phone transactions and the technology is extremely user friendly while remaining very secure. Traders (in this instance traders within the hospitality industry) enjoy significantly reduced costs compared to the traditional card fees and the costs of handling cash.

"The agreement with MICROS-Fidelio provides us with a huge new area of POSs and we see the hospitality industry as especially interesting considering our primary target group, which is mobile urbanites", says Peter Fredell, CEO of Seamless Distribution AB.

MICROS Systems Inc. has more than 330,000 installations in over 180 countries and is the leading provider of enterprise solutions in the hospitality and retail sectors around the world. The company is at the forefront of new technology and the latest trends and has also been noted positively for its innovative solutions in mobile apps for, restaurant chains Wagamama, Pizza Hut, etc.

MICROS-Fidelio is constantly working to help clients develop their payment transactions and integrate them into other systems. The various customer verticals include several leading global hotels, restaurants, bars and several major fast-food chains", says Henrik Hessbo, manager for MICROS's strategic clients in the Nordic countries.

About SEQR
In the Seamless mobile payment solution, SEQR, consumers scan a QR code into the POS terminal, the web or the bill to approve that payment will be charged to their bank accounts. The QR code identifies the payment recipient connected to the Seamless transaction platform and consumers can pay directly from their accounts or via their credit cards. Thus the Seamless solution makes it possible for retailers to avoid the expensive charges imposed by credit card companies. The service is free of charge for consumers.
