SEB's Nomination Committee will propose Jan Erik Back as a new member of the Board of Directors
The Nomination Committee of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (SEB) will propose Jan Erik Back to be elected as a member of SEB's Board of Directors. As previously communicated, the current board members Sven Nyman and Helena Saxon have declined re-election.
Jan Erik Back (born 1961) was until recently Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at Investcorp Holdings, a global manager of alternative investments. Prior to that, he held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SEB, Vattenfall and Skandia.
Jan Erik Back has an extensive and relevant background, including both international and Swedish experience in, among others, banking, investment management, and insurance.
Due to the time span between the Nomination Committee’s decision to propose Jan Erik Back and the timing of the notice of the Annual General Meeting, the proposal is announced now. The Nomination Committee’s work is ongoing, and the complete proposal for the Annual General Meeting will be announced in connection with the notice of the meeting.
