Seegir increases wine storage options for sites without wine cellars
Wine drinkers are becoming increasingly discerning in their tastes and more knowledgeable about the conditions in which the wine of their choice should be stored. However, not all establishments have the space for a dedicated wine cellar. For these sites Seegir has introduced the La Sommelière free-standing ECS135.2Z wine cabinet, to provide perfect wine storage for any site serving fine wines.
La Sommelière is a French company founded in 1993 which in recent years, has become a major player in the French wine cabinet market. The ECS135.2Z is a free-standing, dual temperature zone cabinet, which can store up to 126 bottles of wine in ideal temperature conditions. The upper compartment has a capacity of 60 bottles and the lower 66 bottles, both have independent adjustable temperature controls, between 3°C to 22°C, making it possible to store both red and white wine in the same cabinet.
To showcase the wine bottles there is a full length, UV-protected, glass front door with a long stainless steel handle for ease of opening. To keep the overall look smooth and sleek, the low profile hinge is integrated into the design. Inside, the wine bottles are stored on seven natural beech wood shelves that slide out with smooth-roll operation. Internal white LED lighting in each zone enables both staff and customers to clearly see the wines on offer.
Humidity inside the cabinet is regulated to over 60% for perfect cellar conditions and the granulated internal walls ensure uniformed humidity throughout the cabinet. Both temperature zones have forced air systems and electronic thermostats to keep the temperature constant, while dual digital temperature displays show status at all times. To further protect the stored wine, the cabinet is fitted with an anti-vibration system.
With space-saving overall dimensions of 595mm (w) x 630mm (d) x 1590mm (h), the ECS135 only uses 0.66 kwh of energy per 24h.
