WineEmotion launches card-based system for self-serve wine dispenser
WineEmotion has launched a system that allows customers to serve themselves from a front-of-house wine dispenser, using a loyalty card. The card is charged with a pre-paid amount determined by the customer. The system is designed for use with WineEmotion’s range of wine dispensers and will appeal to venues wanting to extend customer service and enhance their experience.
The customer simply inserts the card into the dispenser and pushes the appropriate button for their selection. Wine can be dispensed in three different-sized measures, which are precisely controlled to ensure there is no wastage. The system is controlled by fully functional software, which alerts staff when bottles are almost empty, so they can replenish the stock and ensure customers can always select from all the wines on display.
“The card system allows customers to try a selection of fine wines, whenever they want to,” says Dan Lovell, managing director of WineEmotion UK. “With different size measures for each wine on offer, customers can try a small glass of a premium wine when they may not be able to afford a bottle. Alternatively, where multiple machines are provided, the customer can choose from a large selection of different wines, by the glass, where most outlets only provide an extensive choice by the bottle.”
The WineEmotion dispenser uses patented technology to keep open bottles of wine fresh for up to 30 days, with no risk of spoilage or cross contamination of taste or bouquet. Temperatures are closely controlled for use with both white and red wines, and the sleek design offers an eye-catching feature for the venue.
