NEW ISSUE 1:8 The extraordinary general meeting in AB Segerström & Svensson on 23 October 2000 approved the board of director's decision of 5 October 2000 to increase the company's share capital by a maximum of SEK 1,483,881 through a new issue of a maximum of 2,967,762 series B shares, each share with a par value of SEK 0.50. Eight series A or series B shares carry the right to subscribe for one new share of series B. The record date for participation in the rights issue is 27 October 2000. Subscription of shares shall be effected during the period from and including 31 October 2000 up to and including 15 November 2000. The new shares are issued at a price of SEK 65, which means that the new issue will provide Segerström with proceeds amounting to a maximum of MSEK 193.
