Segerström makes 1:8 rights issue at subscription price SEK 65 per share The board of Segerström has passed a resolution regarding the terms of the previously announced rights issue. The board's resolution is subject to an approval by an extraordinary general meeting on 17 October 2000. Eight shares of either series A or series B will carry rights to subscribe for one new share of series B. The subscription price will be SEK 65 per share, which means that the issue will raise a maximum of SEK 193 million. The proceeds of the issue will be applied towards the financing of the acquisition of Lewis C. Grant Ltd., which was announced on 31 August 2000. The board 's resolution is also subject to the condition that the extraordinary general meeting adopts an amendment to the articles of association meaning that all shareholders are to be given the same preferential rights to subscription for issues of new shares of one series only. In view of the proposed rights issue, the interim report for the period January - September will be advanced to 23 October 2000. The timetable has been decided as follows: 17 October Resolution by the extraordinary general meeting whether to proceed with the rights issue. 25 October The prospectus is sent to the shareholders. 25 October The shares are traded exclusive the right to participate in the issue. 27 October Record date for participation in the rights issue, i.e. shareholders registered as shareholders in Segerström's shareholders' register on this day will obtain subscription rights to participate in the issue. 31 October - 10 November Trading in subscription rights. 31 October - 15 November Period of subscription and payment.
