CORRECTION: Selvaag Bolig ASA: Capital market update: creating value through long-term development of new homes

In connection with the presentation of its interim results for the third quarter of 2017, Selvaag Bolig will today provide the capital market with an update on its goals and strategies for value creation as well as a review of its business model and views on housing market trends.

Selvaag Bolig pursues long-term housing developments and contributes to meeting the persistent demand for new homes in Norway's largest regions and growth areas - Greater Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Trondheim. Its goal is to be a leading housebuilder in Norway measured by volume, profitability and efficiency.

"Norway has changed considerably in recent decades," notes Selvaag Bolig CEO Baard Schumann. "The population is growing, and the towns are attracting ever more residents. That has created a big demand for new homes in and around the urban centres. Combined with low interest rates on residential mortgages and limited unemployment, this means we expect sales of new homes to grow in 2018 and 2019."
