Selvaag Bolig ASA - Green light for Valle Hovin housing development
The Efta Surveillance Authority (ESA) has approved the land transfer agreement between Vålerenga Football Club and the City of Oslo. That means Selvaag Bolig will build up to 400 homes in the Valle Hovin district, with the first units going on sale as early as October.
"This is fantastic news for Oslo's residents, Vålerenga Football Club and mass participation sport. In addition to providing Oslo with a new stadium, it will give this area of the city a fantastic boost and open new development opportunities. We're looking forward to getting started, says CEO Baard Schumann at Selvaag Bolig.
"The location is great. All the homes will be in walking distance of both the metro system and bus services. We'll be building flats of all sizes, but giving priority to small units for first-time buyers."
Covering 1.32 hectares, the site has planning permission and will accommodate up to 400 homes.
