Nominations committee’s proposals for Semcon AB’s board
Semcon’s nominations committee proposes that Joakim Olsson is elected as a new board member of Semcon AB in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting on 27 April 2011.
The proposal also includes re-electing Hans-Erik Andersson as Chairman of the Board and board member, re-electing Kjell Nilsson, Marianne Brismar, Gunvor Engström and Håkan Larsson as other AGM-elected board members. Jorma Halonen will not be available for re-election.
Joakim Olsson will, if the AGM chooses him, provide Semcon’s board with further expertise and experience in line with the company’s objectives for engineering services and product information. He also has extensive experience of international business.
Personal information:
Joakim Olsson (born 1965), MBA, Master of Business Administration from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France and graduate engineer from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (KTH). President and CEO of Haldex since 2005. Has held many senior executive posts at ABB, including CEO and country manger for ABB Brazil Ltd, in Brazil. Prior to that he was responsible for ABB Ltd’s Power Transformers business area.
Other board assignments: Svenskt Näringsliv (Swedish Trade & Industry) and Teknikföretagen (Association of Swedish Engineering Industries).

The nominations committee until the Annual General Meeting 2011 consists of Hampus Ericsson, JCE Group, Chairman, Erik Sjöström, Skandia Liv, Kerstin Stenberg, Swedbank Robur Fonder, and Semcon’s Chairman of the Board Hans-Erik Andersson, who together represent around 51 per cent of the voting rights of all shares in the company.
