Semcon appointed "preferred supplier" by Ericsson This means that Semcon is one of Ericsson's prioritised suppliers of services within Technical and IS/IT. The agreement applies throughout the year 2000, and to all companies within both groups. Services covered by the agreement within Technical are product development within the whole of Ericsson's product range, i.e. both hard- and software development. Services within IS/IT are PDM, project management, systems and web development, WAP technology and technical information. "Our being a preferred supplier to the whole of the Ericsson group strengthens our relationship further. As suppliers we gain a closer link to Ericsson and even better knowledge of what the customers want from us.
