Semcon appoints deputy CFO

Semcon has appointed Iréne Axelsson as deputy CFO. Iréne, born in 1962, has extensive, solid experience of working for listed companies.

Iréne Axelsson’s previous employment has included working at the Bure Group as CIO, with responsibility for IR and HR issues and she was also controller and Finance Director. Prior to this she worked for ESAB as Group Accountancy Manager. Over the past two years she has been involved with board work and had a number of finance, IR and HR assignments at different companies.
“It’s positive that Iréne can start almost immediately as deputy CFO of Semcon,” says Henrik Sund, President and CEO of Semcon.
The current CFO, Bengt Nilsson, will remain at Semcon for a while to carry out a number of duties for the company.
