Semcon evaluates Icomera's new technology for wireless Internet Semcon signs an agreement with Icomera AB concerning the evaluation of a completely new, unique, technology in the form of a gateway solution that Icomera has developed. The technology will be used to improve existing and future solutions for wireless data communication. The agreement strengthens Semcon's involvement in the telecom sector, with the focus on mobile Internet. Icomera is a software company within wireless data communication that has developed a unique technology, creating a Virtual Wireless Network, which dramatically improves upon existing and future wireless data communication solutions. The agreement means that Semcon will evaluate the technology and its benefits for mobile Internet, including greater mobile bandwidth, a more stable wireless connection and the opportunity to switch between networks without breaking the connection.
