Semcon expanding in Stockholm Semcon, the consultancy firm, is continuing to expand and strengthen its position in Stockholm. During April we will be starting up a further IT department. Semcon today has four offices in the Stockholm region: Nacka Strand, Johanneshov, Kista and Södertälje. Group growth will focus on Stockholm and Öresund during 1999. Richard Göransson has taken up his post as head of department at the new IT consultancy department in Kista. The challenge for Richard is to build up a new department. The department will be directing its services mainly towards customers within telecommunications such as the Telia Group and Telia/Telenor with services within telephony. Thomas Strange has taken up his post as departmental head of the electronics consultancy department. The department will offer services within hard- and software development and design, and also testing/verification. Services are directed mainly towards customers within the telecommunications, defence and automotive industries. In Stockholm Semcon offers services within all the Group's business areas. The dominant customers in the Stockholm region are the Ericsson Group, Astra and Scania.
