Semcon Germany opens an office in Sindelfingen, thereby increasing its presence in the immediate vicinity of Daimler PKW, a key customer.

A new key account manager and an expanded team with experience of Daimler projects move into the premises on Fronäckerstrasse in Sindelfingen. They will provide Daimler with competent development support in simulation, engineering and complete vehicle development in addition to other areas, all from just next door.

The new office is attached to the Semcon office in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim, the company’s base for the more than 80 employees who work mainly on Daimler commercial vehicle development.

“We are delighted to have got one significant step closer to our strategic target of ‘strengthening Daimler as a customer’ by opening the new office, and we are very pleased with Daimler’s positive feedback on this expansion”, says Henry Kohlstruck, Regional Manager of Semcon Germany.

New employees are being recruited to fulfil a variety of functions in a number of departments across all Semcon Germany offices (including in Munich, Ingolstadt, Bad Friedrichshall, Rüsselsheim, Cologne and Wolfsburg).
