Semcon receives major order from BMW

Semcon/IVM Automotive have received a major order from BMW. The order covers engineering, prototyping and production of a car project.

Performance vehicles and motor sport
Through this project Semcon increases its activities in the field of performance vehicles and motor sports. “The project is an ideal platform for us to demonstrate our engineering skills as well as our craftsmanship expertise,” says Stefan Ohlsson.

Growth
The European Automotive market is currently growing with approximately 10 percent annually.
“Overall we have a very good order intake in Germany and we see great possibilities of future growth. We need to recruit and are currently looking to hire 200-300 people,” concludes Stefan Ohlsson.
