Semcon signs outsourcing agreement with ABB Flexible Automation AB Semcon and ABB Flexible Automation AB have signed an outsourcing agreement for developing and producing ABB Flexible Automation AB's customer documentation. The agreement involves an amplified partnership, where Semcon takes over activities in this area. ABB Flexible Automation AB is a world leader in developing automated robotic applications. The partnership means that Semcon takes charge of producing all the company's technical customer documentation. The agreement will initially run for three years and will involve documentation activities at ABB Flexible Automation AB in Laxå and Västerås. "Our customers' technical information will be more important for us in future, including greater use of facilities via the internet. To meet this increased demand it is important for us to find a good partner who can develop this activity and supply us with new resources in line with the rapid technical developments occurring in this field.
