Semcon Project Management has signed a framework agreement with the National Rail Administration (Banverket) for training and consultancy services relating to PROPS. The agreement runs until 31 December 2007 and is worth around SEK 4 million.

“We see the framework agreement with Banverket as confirmation that our venture in developing and widening activities in the PROPS sector is correct,” says Semcon’s CEO Hans Johansson. “A majority of Banverket’s activities are run in project form. We have good experience from working with Semcon and look forward to this continuing in future. Banverket is facing many exciting challenges where PROPS will help us to be more effective,” says Eva Martinsson, divisional manager at Banverket “We are very proud and happy about this new agreement,” says Catharina Sjögren MD of Semcon Project Management. “We look forward to continuing our joint aim of making project work more streamlined.” Semcon Project Management aims at creating greater profitability in project portfolios, as well as in individual projects. Project work is much more than just the individual project. Putting customer benefits first, finding the right project, and allocating resources optimally – all this is done so that we can create profitability and effectiveness. PROPS, developed by Ericsson, is one of the world’s leading project models. Semcon Project Management took part in developing PROPS and has the sole right to sell PROPS material and provide training sessions.
