Semcon supports E.ON for more efficient project operations
Semcon has signed an agreement with E.ON Energiinfrastruktur to provide support in project governance and the implementation of the XLPM project methodology. The agreement, valid until 31 December 2025, ensures that E.ON Energiinfrastruktur will operate in line with XLPM to further strengthen and streamline their project operations.
“We are pleased with the opportunity to collaborate with E.ON Energiinfrastruktur, a key player in the energy sector’s transition,” says Therése Hallberg from Semcon. “We can support their work towards a sustainable future by streamlining project processes and aligning operations to international standard by implementing the project methodology XLPM”.
By partnering with Semcon, E.ON Energiinfrastruktur has access to XLPM, a proven project methodology that helps the company manage complex projects and deliver solutions that meet future energy demands. The implementation also enhances employee skills through training in the new methodology.
“We looked for a partner with a well-established and continuously updated methodology, along with consultants with solid expertise within the field. We found what we were looking for in Semcon and the project methodology XLPM,” says André Strömberg, Process Leader at E.ON Energiinfrastruktur.
The project methodology XLPM (Excellence in Project Management), developed by Semcon, is a flexible and scalable methodology based on international standard. It is used by companies and organisations across various industries. The XLPM models, combined with Semcon's expert services and training, provide valuable support for organisations to achieve desired outcomes and effects in their development and change initiatives, alongside their ongoing operations.
“This agreement with E.ON Energiinfrastruktur reinforces Semcon’s position as a leading partner in developing successful project organisations. We now look forward to starting this transformation journey with our skilled consultants at Semcon,” says Therése Hallberg.
