Top name from Framfab joins Semcon
Top name from Framfab joins Semcon Johan de Verdier, previously successful as Managing Director of Guide, and then head of Swedish operations for Framfab and Managing Director of Framfab Software, will join Zipper by Semcon in July 2001. Johan de Verdier started at Guide Konsult in 1996 and was very successful in building up operations there. At Semcon, Johan will be Managing Director of the subsidiary, Zipper by Sermcon, a consultancy business that works with solutions within IT structure concerning strategy and methods for business development. Zipper by Semcon, which currently has 35 employees, was started in mid 2000 by Ulf Börjel, Jan Hesselgren, Bengt Örnegren and Sten Hellström. All the founders have extensive experience of IT consultancy and specialise in IT infrastructure. Zipper has developed Insight, an analysis tool for establishing the current business situation and setting an action plan for the technical infrastructure, and Fasttrack, a semi-manufacture for automation of large PC platforms. Zipper meets modern business requirements for well-planned and uniform infrastructure for information management and system integration. Orders have recently been received from Vattenfall for 16,000 users, and from Göteborg Municipality for 80,000 users. Other customers include SAS, Ringhals, SCA and Ericsson.
