Orchard Supply Hardware Celebrates Clayton Store Remodel This Weekend
SAN JOSE, Calif.,March 25, 2014 -- Home and Garden retailer Orchard Supply Hardware® will celebrate its newly remodeled Clayton store at 5424 Ygnacio Valley Road with an Open House on Saturday, March 29thand Sunday, March 30th.
As part of the Open House celebration, Orchard Supply Hardware is teaming with PODS® Moving & Storage and Habitat for Humanity to collect new and gently used hand and power tools to use in their volunteer projects. Look for a PODS Container in the Orchard Supply Hardware parking lot Saturday and Sunday, where Habitat for Humanity volunteers will accept donations of new and gently used hand and power tools from 9am to 5pm. Donations are tax deductible.

Clayton’s remodel, coupled with Orchard Supply Hardware’s legendary service, will make for a much improved customer shopping experience “Along with a full selection of repair and maintenance products, we now have an expanded assortment of patio furniture, grills, and everything our customers will need to accessorize their backyards, just in time for Spring,” says Store Manager Eric Evensen.
In the garden area, attractive displays have replaced the old metal racks, improving visibility and making the nursery even more inviting. With water conservation top of mind, the nursery area now carries more drought-tolerant plants, like succulents and cactus.
The Workbench area has been expanded to offer more services. Customers can get help with basics like tool and knife sharpening; rescreening and pipe threading. We also cut products like; conduit, chain, cable, pipe. rope, glass and wood to size,
As a special thank you for those attending the Open House, Orchard will offer 10 register-to-win items, including a $5,000 Paint-a-House prize, as well as many other great deals located throughout the store. In addition to Orchard’s knowledgeable staff, product representatives will be on hand to provide further assistance.
