Orchard Supply Hardware Showcases Renovated Pinole Store March 29 and 30
SAN JOSE, Calif., March 24, 2014–– Orchard Supply Hardware®will showcase a major renovation of its Pinole store at 1440 Fitzgerald Dr. with an Open House celebration on Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30. Richard Maltsbarger, President of Orchard Supply Hardware will be on hand Saturday morning, along with officials from the City of Pinole and the Pinole Chamber of Commerce, to celebrate the store’s new look and expanded layout.
Customers will notice that the store looks different from the outside, but that’s just the beginning. “We have a beautiful, newly remodeled store that our customers are going to love,” said Store Manager Sean Wally. Look for the Workbench, where customers can get help with basics like tool and knife sharpening; rescreening; lock re-keying; pipe threading; and conduit, chain, cable, pipe or rope cutting. “We’ll even cut things like glass, wood, pipe, rope and cable to size,” Wally said. Garden enthusiasts will love the expanded nursery filled with a larger variety of high-quality plants and landscape products. For even more convenience, there’s now a cashier station in the nursery so customers can enter and exit the garden space directly.
“We’re excited to bring this proven, customer-friendly design to a store that has been a longtime member of the Pinole neighborhood,” said Richard Maltsbarger, Orchard Supply Hardware’s president. “The format is designed to optimize traffic flow and minimize wait time, but it’s our friendly, knowledgeable associates in the store who make the difference.” At Saturday’s event, Maltsbarger will present a donation to two community organizations, the Pinole Garden Club and the West Contra Costa Unified School District’s Transition Program, a vocational training school for developmentally disabled young adults.
An Orchard Open House would not be complete without a treat for customers, and Pinole’s event is no exception. The first 200 customers in line before the store opens at 7:00 AM on Saturday will receive a $25 Orchard gift card.
