Collège Notre Dame de Louaizé becomes first school to implement The 3D Classroom in Lebanon
Sensavis, the creator of the visual learning tool The 3D Classroom has signed a contract with Collège Notre Dame de Louaizé, the first school in Lebanon to implement The 3D Classroom.
“Our school has a clear plan when it comes to investments in technology. We are preparing our students to succeed in the 21st century, to have technological, communication, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Also, we need to prepare them for the changing nature of information, they need to learn how to discern, aggregate, and synthesize information in addition to “knowing” it”, says Fr. Charbel Haddad, Rector of Collège Notre Dame de Louaizé.
“We are continuously evaluating tools that will support our educators and inspire innovative learning. The 3D Classroom is a perfect fit in our strategy. It opens up for creativity, creation, and discussions and provides a solid tool for both flipped classrooms and project based learning. It is a tool that we believe will inspire both educators and students”, says Elie Saab, Director of Information Learning Technology & E-learning at Collège Notre Dame de Louaizé.
Collège Notre Dame de Louaizé has 4 200 students, of which 3 400 will be using The 3D Classroom starting this fall. The school will set up trainings in four media centres for around 100 teachers, to train them in using The 3D Classroom as well as Microsoft Office Mix to create high quality flipped classroom materials.
“We are extremely happy to welcome Collège Notre Dame de Louaizé as our first Lebanese customer. We are impressed with their digital strategy and their solid approach in developing their students’ 21st century skills. We look forward to working with the school and their educators”, says Fredrik Olofsson, CEO Sensavis.
