This new, improved version of the visual learning tool will help schools and districts to bring education into the 21st century. Sensavis supports educators when teaching, creating their own materials, and engage students.

Today Sensavis released a new version of their popular interactive app, a tool which visualizes complex and abstract concepts. The latest version of the Sensavis Win 10 app focuses on the user’s experience, is quicker to install and easier to navigate. Educators can personalize the learning experience by choosing which modules they would like to download within the six major content areas.

“I have been working with technology in schools for many years as a teacher, researcher, and school leader and Sensavis is among the best that I’ve seen. It allows teachers and students to create their own content in way that is both deeply engaging and academically rigorous. This tool enables exploration and discovery, which are integral parts of the learning process and the simple elegance of this new version makes the tool accessible even to teachers with minimal experience using technology in the classroom”, says Molly B. Zielezinski, doctoral candidate at the Stanford Graduate School of Education.

Functions such as inking and a new digital whiteboard further enhance the relevance of this tool in a wide variety of classroom activities. The whiteboard allows the user to draw and write on a black, white, or semitransparent screen without having to exit the app.

“For a digital tool to be successful within education it must meet two criteria, that it adds a great educational value and that it is easy to use. Sensavis new Windows 10 app achieves both. The tool is also very flexible and can be used in a variety of ways: in the classroom, to flip classrooms, and turn students from passive consumers into active producers. The response we’ve received from beta testers has been incredible, and we’re excited to get this app out in to schools all over the world”, says Fredrik Olofsson, President and CEO of Sensavis
