Sensys Gatso confirms the Swedish Transport Administration's procurement award, worth up to SEK 850 million
Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety systems, announced on October 8, 2022 that its subsidiary Sensys Gatso Sweden has received a procurement award decision from the Swedish Transport Administration. The procurement award for new traffic-safety cameras and related installations and maintenance for the nationwide ATK program (Automated Traffic Enforcement), is estimated to be worth up to SEK 850 million. This award has been confirmed now with no appeals during the appeal period.
According to the Public Procurement Act, the award decision may be appealed during a period of 10 days after the award decision. This period ended on October 17, 2022. Sensys Gatso has been notified today that no appeals have been received.
Next step in the process is the finalisation of the contract with our customer. Sensys Gatso will inform the market once the contract has been signed about the delivery timelines, the distribution between deliveries of the new traffic-safety cameras and the related installations and maintenance.
