Sensys Gatso receives TRaaS contract for traffic safety in Grinnell (IA) worth SEK 15 million and continues to expand its footprint in Iowa, USA
Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, through its subsidiary Sensys Gatso USA, has executed a five-year base-term automated speed enforcement contract with the City of Grinnell, IA. The contract is estimated to be worth up to USD 1.44 million, corresponding to SEK 15 million. The program is anticipated to begin in the spring of 2024 with automated fixed speed enforcement systems and a mobile speed vehicle.
“As small and tranquil as the City of Grinnell may be, we still have the busiest interstate in the U.S. going right through our jurisdiction along with two very busy highways both of which experience an increase in traffic crashes each year”, said Police Chief Mike McClelland.

Sensys Gatso USA now has 13 contracted automated traffic enforcement programs in the state.
