Sensys Gatso Group, a global leader in traffic safety solutions, through its subsidiary, Sensys Gatso Sweden, has signed a five-year procurement agreement worth SEK 152 Million. The agreement is signed with a local partner in the Middle East region and covers speed and red-light enforcement systems. First deliveries worth SEK 16 Million are planned to be executed within 2023. Annual deliveries for the remaining four years of the agreement are expected to increase, to fulfil the needs of the customer based on this agreement.

Sensys Gatso has over a longer period of time built up a large installed base of systems in the country. While still fully operational, some of these systems are in need of an upgrade in order to offer our end-customer the ability to enforce a variety of dangerous driving behaviours. Therefore, the customer has initiated a 5 year program to both add to and replace the current installed base.

Besides state of the art speed enforcement solutions, Sensys Gatso has a particularly strong position within “Intersection safety” where not only red-light violations are enforced, but also other types of dangerous behaviours in the intersection, such as illegal turns, blocking the intersection and/or the pedestrian crossing and more.

“We are thrilled to announce this exciting deal, which represents a milestone in our company's history in the region. This specific customer is always in the forefront of traffic technology with forward looking requirements. Their trust and confidence in our products and services is a testament to our commitment to provide the highest quality solutions. We look forward to continuing our fruitful partnership and delivering exceptional results for our valued customer”, says Saman Alae Naziri, General Manager of Sensys Gatso Group MENA.
