Regional Manager for Serneke Construction in Stockholm/Mälardalen
Serneke Construction is continuing its expansion in Stockholm and the Mälardalen area and has recruited a new manager for the region. In September, Fredrik Elmgren will enter the role of Regional Manager for Serneke Construction.
Prior to this, Fredrik was business manager at NCC Sweden, Housing Stockholm, where he worked for the last five years. He has nearly 30 years of experience in construction from both large and smaller companies, including Skanska and Sundvalls Bygg and has worked as both a contractor and purchaser.
“Today, we are an established player with major construction projects in Mälardalen and Stockholm. But as we see further potential for growth in the region, we require a competent and motivated regional manager. When I met Fredrik, I immediately felt that he is a person who is perfectly suited to us,” says Daniel Åstenius, President, Serneke Construction.
As Regional Manager for Serneke Construction Region East, Fredrik will have overall responsibility for all the Company’s ongoing construction projects and operations in the region. A major focus will be on expanding into more strategically selected areas, building out the organization and expanding Serneke’s customer base. Fredrik will also be a part of Serneke Construction’s central management team.

Fredrik Elmgren will enter his new role on September 20, 2017.
Serneke Construction Region East comprises about 20 ongoing major projects in the Stockholm region, Uppsala and Eskilstuna. Västerås, Linköping, Norrköping and Örebro are examples of other areas in the region where Serneke has an ambition to establish itself.
