Serneke and Platzer sign letter of intent on land acquisition

Serneke Real Estate and Platzer has today signed a letter of intent for a larger land acquisition at Säve airport. Serneke Real Estate refer to purchase Platzers estate of 100 hectar at Säve depot, to an underlying property value of about 100 million SEK. 

The current area of ​​Säve, which covers about one million square meters, is directly adjacent to the property bought by Serneke in May 2016. Serneke's total contiguous land ownership would, by a completed agreement, comprise about three million square meters of developable land.

– We see great development opportunities for the property at Säve. With access to more land, we create even better conditions for developing businesses that benefit the city and the region, says Krister Johansson, CEO of Serneke Real Estate.

– The area around Säve Airport and Säve Depot will be best developed with one single owner. Through a sale of Säve Depot to Serneke Real Estate, the area has a strong owner and Platzer can fully focus on developing our logistics properties in Arendal and Torslanda, says P-G Persson, CEO of Platzer.

The property is acquired through a company acquisition of AB Platzer Åseby 7:2.

Serneke and Platzer have stated with the letter of intent to finalize the deal by the end of May this year. Target date of access is no later than 1 September 2017.
