Serneke Civil Engineering receives contract in Upplands Väsby
Serneke Civil Engineering has today entered into an agreement with Midroc for a civil engineering contract in Upplands Väsby. The contract is valued at approximately SEK 31.5 million and is included in the order intake for the third quarter of 2017.
The contract includes excavation work and detailed planning for 194 apartments and 25 terraced houses with garage and restaurant premises to be built in the up-and-coming area of Eds Allé.
“After Serneke Civil Engineering’s establishment in Stockholm last autumn, we are now involved in several projects in Region East. Eds Allé is the first project north of Stockholm and it is gratifying to have earned the trust to be involved in developing Upplands Väsby in this first of several phases,” says Fredrik Jonsson, President, Serneke Civil Engineering.
“It is very gratifying for Midroc to enter into this collaboration with Serneke and we look forward to getting started with the excavation work after the summer holiday period. The developer is AB Väsbyhem, and this is the first phase of Väsbyhem’s new production in the Eds Allé area,” says Niklas Karlsson, Project Manager at Midroc.
The work is scheduled to commence in August, once building permits are approved. The project is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2020.
