Serneke in partnership with construction company in Australia

Serneke becomes a minority owner of Consortium Builders, a local construction company in Perth, Australia.
"We consider this a pilot project and a first step in our long-term strategy to establish operations in other countries," says Robin Gerum, Head of Business Development at Serneke Group.

Serneke currently has its primary focus on expansion in Sweden, but the long-term goal is to establish business in countries outside Sweden. When Serneke now enters into a partnership with Consortium Builders, it is to prepare for this.

"We do this as a test to learn how to organize our operations internationally. Why we chose a company in Perth, Australia is primarily because the region offers good growth opportunities, a sound business environment and attractive opportunities for our employees, says Robin Gerum.

Consortium Builders is a small construction company focusing on construction management and with experience of sustainability and innovation in the execution phase. As part of the agreement, Serneke has an option for majority ownership.
