Serneke Group strengthens the management team with Robin Gerum as responsible for Business Development and Jonas Fjellman who assumes the role as HR Director. Robin is joining the company from Carnegie Investment Bank and Jonas is making the move from the automotive industry where he has held various managing HR positions at IAC Group.

Robin Gerum is recruited as responsible for Business Development, which will form a new strategic function in the Group management team. Robin has since 2012 been active in the capital market at Carnegie Investment Bank being responsible for a number of stock listings, capital transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.

“We have had a great journey since our start in 2002 until today as a listed company with almost 1,000 employees, but we are far from finished with a number of exciting opportunities ahead of us. For us to continue to be a challenger on the market, use the full strength of Serneke Group and set a strategic direction that allows us to reach our long term goal, we are now strengthening the organization with a focused Business Development function. Robin Gerum has a personality that fits well with our culture and from his time at Carnegie, he has gained valuable experience from the capital market and several other industries. With Robin in this new function, Serneke strengthens the prerequisites for continuing to make smart choices for the organization on our ongoing journey,” says Michael Berglin, Deputy CEO of Serneke Group.

“It feels great to become a part of Serneke! I look forward to take an active role in an innovative, committed and fast-paced company with great opportunities to further strengthen its position in the market,” says Robin Gerum.

Robin Gerum will begin his position on October 30, 2017.

Jonas Fjellman assumes the role as HR Director at Serneke Group. Jonas comes most recently from a role as HR Director Europe for IAC Group, one of the world’s largest suppliers to the automotive industry, and has previously held managing HR positions in various industries since 2006.

“The recruitment of Jonas as new HR Director is an important part of the strategic reinforcement we have focused on in 2017. With his level of commitment together with his experience from other industries, we have the prerequisites for modern and business-oriented HR efforts. The goal is to create the industry’s best offering for existing and new employees, which will ultimately be the key to our continued success,” says Michael Berglin, Deputy CEO of Serneke Group.

“Serneke has experienced fantastic development, which I am convinced will continue. With such an entrepreneurial spirit, HR plays an important role in creating structures and ensuring that Serneke continues to be a company that attracts, retains and contributes to the development of its employees in the best possible way,” says Jonas Fjellman about his upcoming role.

Jonas Fjellman will begin his position on October 16, 2017.
