Serneke to build office building in Skövde
Today, Serneke Bygg has entered into an agreement with Kreativa Hus i Skövde AB to build the office building Pergolan in Skövde. The order is valued at approximately SEK 99 million.
The office building Pergolan will be an entirely new addition to Skövde’s Gotha Science Park and bring seven floors of office space, totaling over 6,000 square meters, to the area. The client is Kreativa Hus Skövde AB, a wholly-owned municipal corporation that provides premises for expansion and start-up companies.
Construction is scheduled to begin in October 2017, following building permit approval. Pergolan will be ready for occupation in March 2019.
“We are very pleased to have earned the trust to further develop Gothia Science Park! Kreativa Hus is a new customer for us, and new collaborations are always exciting. Our objective is to create a good collaboration and a fantastic facility that will serve its function for a long time to come. Along with the Regionens Hus, we now have a solid foundation for our continued expansion in the area,” says Mats Hagnert, Construction Manager at Serneke Bygg.
“The Pergola expansion is crucial for the park’s continued attractiveness. Now we can offer new and existing companies flexible areas in which to grow. We are looking forward to the collaboration with Serneke,” says Karolina Sahlström, CEO of Kreativa Hus Skövde AB.
Serneke is already in the process of building Regionens Hus in Skövde with 360 workplaces, a reception, conference rooms and communal areas for employees of Region Västra Götaland.
The order amount will be included in order bookings for the second quarter of 2017.
