Conant Has Been With New Hampshire Motor Speedway For 20 Years

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (September 16, 2010) – New Hampshire Motor Speedway’s Ben Conant has been named the ninth recipient of the ServiceMaster Clean “Extra Mile Award” this season.

Conant has been with New Hampshire Motor Speedway for all 20 years of the property’s existence. A native of Maine, he served in the military and law enforcement prior to joining the NHMS staff.

“We are honored that ServiceMaster Clean is recognizing Ben for all his hard work here at New Hampshire Motor Speedway,” said John Zudell, vice president of operations and development at NHMS. “Ben is being recognized as the integral part of the property that he is, one that has made NHMS one of the best racing venues across the country.”

The award recipient can be any member of the track staff that works in a service-oriented position. Track management personnel select the winner. Conant will receive special awards and recognition this weekend during Sunday’s pre-race ceremonies at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The previous eight winners have a combined total of 141 years of service.
