New orders for Plusshus
Setra’s subsidiary Plusshus has signed new orders worth SEK 45 million during the first months of this year. Major projects include senior housing units in Northern Norway and a terraced housing area in Greater Stockholm.
“It is really gratifying to see a light at the end of the tunnel in this tough construction market,” says Nils Clausén, CEO of Setra’s subsidiary Plusshus.
“This means that from mid-March we will need to increase the workforce at our modular building factories in Skellefteå and Kristinehamn with a total of 20-25 people,” says Clausén.
“We are experiencing increased interest in and a good awareness of the advantages offered by our industrial-scale and climate-smart building,” says Clausén.
Plusshus’s business mission is to offer customised and cost-effective housing units made of wood with a high prefabrication level. Customers include commercial property developers and contractors primarily in Sweden and Norway. Manufacturing takes place at two factories in Kristinehamn and Skellefteå, Sweden.
Plusshus is part of Setra Group.
