New Sales Manager for Builders’ Merchants in Sweden

Maria Vestergaard has been appointed as the new Sales Manager Builders’ Merchants Sweden, with responsibility for Setra’s sales of wood products to the Swedish building materials trade. She will take up her post on 1 May.

Maria Vestergaard is a business graduate with sound experience in the sector. She joined Setra in December 2007 as Product Range Manager for building products, having previously worked at DalaFloda, where she had held positions in sales and was also product manager for mouldings and panels.

Maria Vestergaard lives in Sala and will be based at Setra’s office in Gävle.

Eivind Funnemark has been appointed as Sales Manager Builders’ Merchants Norway. Eivind Funnemark is Managing Director of the Norwegian mouldings producer Barkevik, which was acquired by Setra in April 2008.

In 2007 Setra’s sales of wood products to the Swedish building materials trade amounted to around SEK 550 million. Sales of wood products to the Norwegian building materials trade amounted to just over SEK 100 million in 2007. The product portfolio includes flooring, panels, mouldings, glulam, construction timber and wood for outdoor uses. Setra operates sawmills and processing units at 15 sites in Sweden and two sites in Norway.
