Wood products company Setra is increasing its focus on the growing Polish market and will open a local sales office in northern Poland in May.

“Due to the positive sales development in Poland in recent years we are now taking the next step and opening our own local sales office in Lebork. This will enable us to work more closely with already established Polish customers and at the same time build new business relationships in the growing Polish market,” says Olle Berg, Market Director at Setra.

Setra’s new sales office is in the town of Lebork in northern Poland and will be run by Mariusz Kowalski. Mariusz has many years’ experience of the Polish wood products market and his previous work included sales for Stora Enso.

Mariusz has very good knowledge of the Polish market and has already has an established relationship with most of our existing customers. Local representation is important for the long-term development of our business and we are extremely pleased that Mariusz will now be member of our team,” says Olle Berg

Mariusz Kowalski took up his new position on 1 May.
