Alex and Ani Publishes Inspirational Stories in New Book, Path of Life: Why I Wear My Alex and Ani
NEW YORK, NY (March 6, 2013) – Alex and Ani CEO Giovanni Feroce today announced publication of the company’s first book, Path of Life: Why I Wear My Alex and Ani. Co-written by Feroce and Alex and Ani Corporate Historian Cyd McKenna, Path of Life is an inspiring collection of stories from Alex and Ani customers that reflect each individual’s personal account of self-discovery. The book chronicles how Designer Carolyn Rafaelian, Alex and Ani’s Founder and Creative Director, has impacted the lives of her supporters. “We have received hundreds, if not thousands of stories of why people wear Alex and Ani and I felt it was too important to not share these amazing stories with the rest of the world,” said Feroce. “It is basically written by our own customers.”
The book retails for $24 each and is available in Alex and Ani retail stores and at www.alexandani.com. The price is reduced to $15 for those that have other purchases totaling $100 or more.
“There is a message and there is a messenger [referring to Carolyn],” said Feroce. “I put this book together to show the world that you can indeed offer products that are infused with intentions of love, peace and positive energy, made in the USA and eco-friendly.”
The book was named for the lifestyle brand’s bestselling patented expandable wire bangle, Path of Life, which reflects strength, motivation and knowledge (listed on the book’s binder). The first in a series, Path of Life digs deep into the touching and inspiring stories of people who have explored and utilized the power of positive energy in their own meaningful way.
“When thinking about your Path of Life, think about your plan,” said Rafaelian. “Every day of your life know that you’re a divine gift and you’re meant to have everything that your heart desires. Your heart’s desire should be clear, to the point, and your vision should be true to yourself.”
The book’s back cover reads as follows - “Kara’s sister in-law gave her two Alex and Ani bangles: a four leaf clover, and a green gemstone charm, to keep with the ‘luck of the Irish’ theme. Kara later purchased the pink birthstone bangle, wearing it to her treatments as a symbol of strength and courage. Every time she’d see it sparkle, Kara was reminded to keep going, that, as she puts it, ‘Life is too short to sweat the small stuff,’” the remainder of the story can be found on page 73.
