Financial highlights

The results from the first 6 months of 2022

  • The Company has realized a revenue of MDKK 15.636 (4.345), corresponding to a revenue growth of x3.6.
  • Contribution Margin for the period was MDKK 5.7 (2.1).
  • Contribution Margin in % remains high, 37%, compared to forecasted 26%. The company expects the margin to be lower at the end of the year, maintaining an average of 26%
  • EBITDA is improved almost MDKK 1.7
  • Net result is unchanged compared to 1H 2021, as result of higher financial costs and depreciations.
  • Inventory level has increased more than MDKK 10 compared to FY 2021, to be able to deliver on confirmed orders and pipeline in Q3 and Q4 2022, as well as investments in semi-conductors and other critical components for production in 2023.

Business highlights in 1H 2022

  • With the goal of facilitating and optimizing technological education in school systems around the world, Shape Robotics entered partnership in June with Samsung Electronics and increased the guidance for 2022.
  • In April, Shape Robotics entered into a three-year distribution agreement with Altex, Romania's largest IT and electronics retailer. The agreement thus secures Shape Robotics' special status as the sole supplier of several educational technologies, including robots, 3D printers, VR glasses and software for language and physics laboratories. The expected value of the contract is M.DKK 35 in the next three years.

Outlook 2022

  • The Company expects the full year revenue 2022 to be in the range of MDKK 75 to 85 with an EBITDA of MDKK +2 to +4 in the 2nd half of 2022.
