Shape Robotics enters distribution agreement with Aktin in Poland

As part of the EU-supported Recovery and Resilience Plan, a total of approx. DKK 10 billion is invested in the digital upgrade and modernization of Poland's education system. Of this, almost DKK 1 billion is earmarked for   supplying of STEAM equipment and artificial intelligence laboratories, including robotics for use in teaching. With the Fable robot, Shape Robotics is strongly positioned to also embrace this market.

With the first delivery of Fable robots worth DKK 1 million to the new polish distribution partner, Aktin, Shape Robotics is opening a new market with great demand for Danish educational technology. Initially, the partnership includes a minimum of 100 schools in 2023, corresponding to a total billing value of DKK 3.5 million.

Aktin and Shape Robotics has an ambition to reach 300-500 schools per year. The new distribution agreement, therefore, provides a potential turnover in the range of DKK 12 to 25 million per year in the new Polish market.

The Company maintains the financial expectations for 2023.
