In accordance with the company's internal procedures, one-off orders representing a level of more than 5% of the company's expected revenue in an existing market in the financial year, and of strategic importance, must be announced to the market as a company announcement.

Shape Robotics group has received a one-off order from a partner (integrator) in Romania of almost €1 m in total (DKK 7 m) to be delivered and invoiced in September 2022. The order will be delivered partially from both subsidiaries, Shape Robotics Romania, and Video Technic Systems.

“We see the order as strategically important, not only does it constitute a large one-off order, but also shows the potential when our companies within the group work closely together, to meet the market's needs, thus complementing each other within R&D, AV solutions and educational technology.”

André Fehrn, CEO.

Shape Robotics has high revenue growth and expects DKK 18-22 m in Q3 and DKK 47-55 m in Q4.

The company maintains the financial expectations for the year 2022.

Focus on the Recovery and Resilience Plans (RRP) in EU

The Recovery and Resilience Facility will advance large-scale investments and reforms in education that have the potential to make an impact in the medium to long-term. Member States have chosen to use the Facility primarily to improve the resilience of their education systems with a strong focus on digital education. The investments and reforms address all levels of education and training (i.e. pre-primary, primary, secondary, and tertiary education and training) with country-specific variations linked to national priorities and challenges.

As part of the EU's RRP, Romania is investing approx. 15 billion DKK in digitization of education over the next 4 years, with a particular focus on technology rooms and STEAM Labs (including SmartLabs). Shape Robotics expects to deliver in several of these initiatives in Romania alone. Furthermore the company is exploring opportunities in other EU countries with focus on STEAM education in their national RRP’s such as Italy, Bulgaria, Greece and Poland. Last the company has a strong focus on the new EU candidates Moldova and Ukraine.
