Sherborne Sensors continues global success with record growth
Product innovation and customer expansion drive unprecedented rise in sales globally
London, UK, 07 February 2012 Sherborne Sensors, a global leader in the design, development and manufacture of sensors for military, aerospace and industrial applications, today announced that 2011 marked a record year for the company, with a 15% increase in turnover and 11% more customers secured compared with the previous year.
Much of this success can be attributed to the launch of several new products over the past twelve months, including the T835, high precision, gravity referenced, tri-axial inclinometer and WTS Wireless Tilt System. Sherborne Sensors was also awarded the acclaimed AS9100B quality management standard.
In addition, having maintained a strong working relationship with long-term partner Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Sherborne Sensors was recently awarded the prestigious gold rating, on initial nomination, in its ‘Preferred Supplier Program’ (PSP). The award was made on the basis of several factors, including Sherborne Sensor’s continued 100 per cent supplier rating and support of multiple Lockheed Martin programmes.
