Daikin Launches Revolutionary Split Range

Report this content

Latest generation climate control systems are clean, silent and energy-efficient.

Characterised by good looks and smart use of technology, the new split range has been designed for maximum ease of use and low running costs, while creating a healthy indoor climate.  The 2016 models will include the new Daikin Emura, based on the award-winning design of its predecessors and a brand new FTXM indoor and Multi outdoor range.

Get more with less energy consumption
Designed by Daikin in Europe for European use, the 2016 new split range is rated up to A+++ for maximum energy efficiency in heating and cooling.  All models are optimised for seasonal energy efficiency, taking into account local climate zones and seasonal temperature differences throughout the year, to deliver further energy savings through automatic system adjustments.

Cutting edge design
Virtually noise-free in operation, the new split range incorporates the latest developments in climate control technology:  Intelligent eye sensors automatically adjust air flow to minimise draughts and reduce output in unoccupied rooms to save energy, while 3D airflow provides even temperatures throughout the room for optimum comfort.

Keeping your environment healthy and safe
The new FTXM indoor split range incorporates Daikin’s latest Flash Streamer technology which uses high speed electrons to eliminate allergens, smells and bacteria without collecting mold and viruses, delivering cleaner air in as little as 10 minutes – up to three and a half times faster than natural ventilation (as proved in independent tests*) This technology is also available as part of the Ururu Sarara, Daikin’s flagship pair split system.

Smart Control
For multi splits, control is possible for up to five units from a single centralised system, with either a hard-wired or wireless controller, via an optional app, which allows adjustment remotely. Units can be assigned to individual zones and according to power consumption to reflect room usage patterns, in order to conserve energy and monitor energy consumption for heating and cooling. The same controls are also available for the pair split range.

A wide range of products based on low GWP refrigerant
As a leading HVAC manufacturer, Daikin has been proactive in the development of air conditioning systems that have a lower environmental impact, with refrigerant choice being a key factor in the drive to reducing global warming. The new 2016 split range uses R-32 refrigerant, a more environmentally friendly alternative which provides affordable comfort and maximum performance. Safer to handle, it is already fully compliant with new EU regulations on the use of refrigerants in split air conditioning systems of less than 3kg charge due to be introduced in 2025.

Following the introduction in 2013 of the Ururu Sarara, the first air to air heat pump in Europe to use R-32 refrigerant, Daikin Europe is leading the market thanks to the new Daikin Emura and FTXM models; offering European customers the largest range of more environmentally friendly and energy efficient air conditioners.

Why wait for efficient comfort in your building?
Installation of the new range can be carried out easily without replacing existing piping. Replacement of older systems running with R-22, R407c or R410a refrigerants is also possible through a qualified installer.

The new systems will be gradually released from next year with the range fully available from March 2016.
