Marine tank gauging made simple – Just add cables

As the marine transportation industry evolves, it has become apparent that there is a need for a cost effective and simple to operate tank level measurement system for smaller vessels, which would have historically been based around mechanical indicators.

The new VPM 4310 has all the benefits of electronic measurement transmitters and a centralised display with alarm handling to be used for fuel and service tanks. However, the new product is available at reduced cost compared to conventional systems, making it a cost-effective purchase, that is also very simple to install and operate.

The VPM 4310 is optimised for those vessels with up to 15 tank measuring points, making it particularly attractive to smaller boat builders and repair yard upgrades. In addition it requires just one 4 wire cable for both power and communications.

The system is supplied already configured to suit the particular application, and is suitable for fuel, lube oil, water, bilge and ballast level applications.
